President Obama has dispatched 100 troops to Central Africa on a humanitarian mission to help track down a fugitive wanted for crimes against humanity.
The contingent of special-operations forces began arriving Wednesday in Uganda to help train its army to search for Joseph Kony and what remains of his Lords Resistance Army that has terrorized Central Africa for more than 20 years.

More troops will be sent to South Sudan, the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
President Obama said the combat-equipped troops will provide information advice and assistance to national forces and would not themselves engage LRA forces except for self-defense, which could lead to further escalation of U.S. involvement in both combat and in troop levels.

Obama starts Not-A-War War Number Five, throwing U.S. troops in to AFRICAN CIVIL WARS, and the US networks stay utterly silent about it. IMAGINE the outcry from the media, and the Left, if Bush had done this?
OH WAIT.... Remember the "NOT IN MY NAME!" protests when he deployed Special Forces to Afghanistan?
Refresh my memory on the wars we are involved in:
Afghanistan
Iraq
Libya

Nope, ole Schultz and Maddow will scream about Tea Party racists and Senator Craig, or maybe Sarah Palin quitting or maybe Herman Cain’s attachment to the Koch Bros.
No Fast & Furious
No Indiana vote scandal
No foreign wars
Not that 400,000 new jobless claims for 12+ months
No 9.1% unemployment
It’s the minority GOP blocked the “Jobs Bill”
USSF has been deploying to the African continent to conduct training and other missions for quite some time. This is nothing new.
“Doesn’t anyone in Washington give a damn about what he gets us involved in.???? “
Obama has killed 20-30 THOUSAND civilians in Libya. Most of the media has CHOSEN to completely ignore this, after all of the years of Bush, because it is POLITICALLY EXPEDIENT to do so.
I said in 2006, that if the media could convince the sheeple, during a time of 4% unemployment, and a 14,000 DOW, that Pelosi’s “WORST ECONOMY SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION!” was true, we were truly finished as a Democratic Republic.
I have not been proven wrong by events.
What could possibly go wrong?
After President Barack Obama announced earlier this week that he would be sending American troops into Uganda, WND uncovered billionaire activist George Soros' ties both to the political pressure behind the decision and to the African nation's fledgling oil industry.
Soros sits on the executive board of an influential "crisis management organization" that recently recommended the U.S. deploy a special advisory military team to Uganda to help with operations and run an intelligence platform, a recommendation Obama's action seems to fulfill.
Over the weekend, the news reports said the first troops had ALREADY arrived LAST Wednesday.
In last night’s news, we heard a new line from the admin that we are going in to Uganda to fight Al Qaeda.
Like the killing of bin Laden, the story keeps changing.
