Why would a rational person ever stand in line for 10 minutes in order to pay 5 bucks for a cup of coffee.

I had a Starbucks coffee in New York City last week. The wait was about 30 seconds and the coffee was $1.65.

I thought New York was expensive. Where the hell is the Starbucks you are talking about?

Hmmm

Time to buy more green beans.
They store very well, like two years, and "roasting your own" is quite fun.
There is nothing like really FRESH coffee!

I recall a Nat’l Geographic magazine years ago. One article talking about moose (?) I think, and how their numbers were declining in Maine and Minnesota and how terrible it was because of Global Warming.

In the SAME magazine there was another article about some rare Mexican Tanager or some-such bird. For the FIRST TIME ever it had been seen in Texas, and was a boon to bird watchers to have this bird expanding its territory.

The Kirtland Warbler is another manmade success story. 40 years ago there were only an estimated couple dozen breeding pairs in a 20 square mile area of the northern lower peninsula.

Today there are thousands of the birds all over the northern part of the lower peninsula with multiple possible sightings in the upper peninsula. The conservation effort that brought them back from the brink? Logging.

The birds thrive in burned over jack pine areas. Between controlled burns and logging, their ideal habitat has returned.

I checked online recently about growing coffee in the GA mountains but it gets too cold. Maybe in a greenhouse. Probably Florida or Mexifornia. There is no way the human species will let coffee go extinct. LOL!
