if there is any place where the occupy thing could get ugly, I suppose it's in Hartford.

Of course, that would mean people would have to show up.

Where it will probably blow up is in St. Louis or Chicago.

I don’t even go into Hartford to watch hockey games (and I am a confirmed hockey nut). No way you would catch me ‘occupying’ Hartford for much of any reason. Maybe to protest lefties at the Capital during the day, but overnight? Pfft, no thanks. I value my life more than that.

Apparently all the latte liberals in the area agree.

Earlier today it was reported that a man at Occupy Hartford was arrested for pulling a steak knife on another man in a tent. The reason? He was agitated over having to share blankets with the other man.

Oh the irony.

For those unfamiliar with Hartford, excerpt from advice to "New to Hartford-Advice on where to live":

I wouldn't walk alone at night anywhere in the Hartford city limits. The downtown core where all the high rise office buildings are fine 8am to around 6:30pm, but I wouldn't go for a stroll at night. It's literally blocks from the Albany ave. section of the north end of Hartford which is one of the worst ghettos in the country and the area immediately to the west and south of city are also bad. No area of Hartford is nice to live in. Pope park section is horrific. North end is a war zone. Area near the hospital is horrific. Basically the city is a crime ridden ****hole.
