I hear it’s quite easy to attach the blades when the lawn needs a trimming.

And with Obamas EPA causing the closure of 20% of the utility plants, just how do they propose people will charge these things up?? Duh, with electricity. It comes out of the wall. I don't know what the problem is, I've never run out of it.

I don’t know what voltage the battery in the Spark is, but typically the voltage in these electric hybrids is about 280 to 300 volts. EMT crews and firefighters have to be schooled in ‘where to cut’ with the Jaws of Life to prevent electrocuting themselves and the victims, or setting off an explosion from the spilled gasoline fumes.
‘Spark’ may be a harbinger of things to come.......................

And it will have to be subsidized since no one will want to buy one.So what's the problem? Just require the "rich" to buy them for the poor.

There are going to be all kinds of “unintended consequences” from putting these glorified golf carts on the roads.
One good hit from a dump truck and an EMT will not be required. Rather, a spatula will suffice.

GM used to have "Body by Fisher" plates on their cars' panels.
The updated version will be "Body by Fisher-Price."

that would reduce the numbers of “free range poor”, wouldn’t it?
Give every po’ folk an electric car and a 5 mile long extension cord?

GM really wants to run themselves out of business!
Government is never out of business.
They just raise taxes or print more money to keep going.
So, GM is safe until the whole U.S. shuts down.

A violent accident could cause a rupture of a gasoline tank and a simultaneous ‘dead short’ of the vehicle battery.
At that point, all that will be needed is a broom........................

Wow. Looks like they ran out of room even for the door handle on the back door. Doesn’t give much hope for legroom.

smaller That's the real goal. It's what the leftists really want to impose on their neighbors: smaller houses, smaller cars, smaller families. Leftism is mostly about visible size envy. They aren't really worried about the environment, that's just an excuse. They are worried that you have more and bigger things than they do.

that would reduce the numbers of free range poor, wouldnt it?The poor won't be driving any of these cars. Too expensive. They'll stick with the old beaters that they can afford to purchase and drive only as much as the price of gasoline allows.
The people that are going to get "culled" driving these golf carts are the recent college grads & young (mostly female) professionals.

Yeah, and in a few months (for less than half the price of the Spark), you can buy a Chevy Cruze with a turbo-charged diesel engine that will get 50 MPG. Why introduce a car that will fruther cut into Volt and Spark sales? Because once The One is voted out, GM will exit the electric car businesa..
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Maybe they will sell a few dozen and beat the volt!
