Interestingly, there is another Orlando mosque on Apopka-Vineland Road. About 2/10 of a mile north, on the other side of the road, is a synagogue. Couldn’t happen in Saudi Arabia;)

On September 2nd the Orlando Sentinel did run a front page story on Imam Muhammad Musri who was charging his fellow Muslims $5 to park for Friday Jumma prayers calling it the infamous “Pay to Pray” scandal. As important as “pay to pray” may be to some, it does not take a Sentinel Editor to realize that when the FBI arrests an Orlando Muslim Imam it is big news, especially to the residents who live and work near the Mosque in question.

The MSM would be on this like white on rice if the FBI had arrested a white conservative ( domestic terrorist according to the Holder's and Janet's of the world)... An illegal firearm with a Muslim - not a story. Wonder if it's a Fast and Furious weapon...

“WFTV obtains new documents in case of Imam, man facing charges in anti-terrorism investigation”

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —

SNIPPET: “WFTV’s Kathi Belich obtained new documents in the top secret case, which show they might have been plotting with others to kill high-ranking Americans in the military overseas.”

SNIPPET: “Jimenez is expected to plead to tax fraud and lying to the FBI on Tuesday morning in federal court.

Robertson is scheduled for trial in October for his alleged part in the tax scheme and is awaiting sentencing on a firearms trafficking conviction.”

Among the latest snared by federal law enforcement efforts is Imam Abu Taubah, whose real name is Marcus Dwayne Robertson. As reported by Family Security Matters in January, Robertson was charged last year with federal firearms violations, having been a previously convicted felon found to be in unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Robertson had been the imam of the Masjid Al-Ihsaan mosque in Orlando. The property at that address is owned by the Istiqaamah Foundation Inc. The former name of the mosque was the Islamic Center of Orlando until it was changed in 1998. Robertson, also known as Taubah, is not identified in any of the Florida corporate documents for the mosque.

Robertson’s criminal activity in central Florida did not end with his guilty plea to the gun charge.”

“Feds: Orange County Imam had ties to accused group in 1993 WTC bombing”

ORLANDO, Fla. —

SNIPPET: “The FBI said Jimenez was worried they’d all get caught, because he said Robertson wasn’t just talking about the Quran here at the Masjid Al-Ihsaan mosque in East Orange County, he was talking about the military, and people were bringing weapons and ammunition.

The FBI said they worked on the plan in Robertson’s East Orange County home and said phone taps and confidential informants show that just months before the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Robertson taught Jimenez to kill officers first and to kill Marines, because they’re “fighters and warriors on the battlefield.”

The feds won’t name the other suspects.

The FBI said Robertson was in a rush to get Jimenez to Mauritania last year, but he was arrested 19 days before Sept. 11, 2011.”

After the video was released George Galloway’s visa to enter the United States was revoked by United States Government. Imam Musri remains on the Governor of Florida’s Faith Based Advisory Council and is considered the “go to” person in Orlando for all things Islamic.
