GOP establishment trying to co-opt the tea party.
Really a lot of scoundrels out there in public life with nary a concern for what is good for the AMERICAN PEOPLE. Disgusting.
If the Republican Party cannot learn from its mistakes, there is always an option for the Tea Party to become a third party with a President candidate to run to rip Republican Party into pieces. The Tea Party might not win, but at least it can whip the Republican Rinos until its Rinos learn a lesson and stop admiring leftist values.
Of course you compromise. Like this: "I want to cut the budget by $4 trillion, and you don't want to cut it at all. So we'll cut it $2 trillion."
That's a compromise.
The kind of compromise we don't need is: "You want to raise government spending by $4 trillion, and I don't want to raise it at all. So we'll compromise and only raise it $2 trillion.
See the difference there, Vin? Do I have to explain EVERYTHING?
There is a lot of wet dreaming going on out there. The Tea Party has not even started to throw it’s weight around in this election cycle. The establishment has not a clue at the might that has been built back up, replenished, and the precinct gains we’ve made since the 2010 elections.
In an interview Friday, U.S. Army private Scott Thomas Beauchamps wife Elspeth Reeve, a former reporter-researcher at The New Republic, told the Observer that she was excited when someone at the magazine assigned her to fact-check one of her husbands dispatches from Iraq.
I was like, Sweet! I can talk to Scott on TNRs dime! Ms. Reeve said.
Ms. Reeve was working at TNR when Mr. Beauchampwhose articles described soldiers killing dogs and mocking wounded civilianswas accused by critics of fabricating some of his material.
Mr. Foer has since written and published a 7,000-word piece retracting Mr. Beauchamps articles for TNR, noting that assigning Ms. Reeve to fact-check her husbands work was a mistake.

Picking up my guitar to play ...
The only thing the GOP can defeat is itself.
It is run by and contains some of the most ineffective, useless, annoying people I’ve ever seen.
They are crumb feeders.
