I love it! Perry must be depressed though. Not bothering to go after him should tell him a lot. Tonight will be fun. I’m getting a special bourbon to sip during it.

New Hampshire news outlets pimping hard for Romney...just said "Romney will benefit from Christie's ties to the Tea Party"...ROTFLMAOPIMP!!!

It was radio, so I couldn't tell if the copy boy was reading it with a straight face.

I hope he really doesn't. People do not want to see presidential candidates attacking each other like juveniles.People want to see candidates speak of how they will turn our economy and our Country around. Gingrich had it right the last debate. The media wants to goad the candidates into putting on a spectacle and they should politely decline. We want to see adults and problem solvers, we have juvenile incompetents now and that's what we want to get rid of.

Don't do it Herman. You got raked over the coals for a mere "Insensitive" slight, don't give the media and the other candidates ammunition. Do your thing, giving direct, to the point answers to the questions without getting involved in personalities.

Go Cain!

If this is true, it makes me very very nervous for Herman tonight. In my opinion, both he and Newt have benefited from staying out of the internal fray and taking their fight directly to Obama. Bachmann attacked Perry, then tanked. Perry attacked Romney, then tanked.

I hope Cain doesn't lose track of what has started and sustained his momentum. He has a deep background as a motivational speaker - he does it very well. Romney has a lot of campaign experience from 2008 that involved giving and taking nasty jabs between the candidates. He does it very well. Stick to your strengths, Herman. Don't play to Romney's strengths.

Romney is going first, then Cain is going after him. Why is this news?

"I’m not going after Perry. I don’t need to go after Perry," Cain said, per POLITICO's Juana Summers.

Hmmm. Not a transcript but "per POLITICO's Juana Summers". I'd like to see what the context was, not that a fine organization like POLITICO would ever take anything out of context.

I'm afraid some Perry supporters might want to goad Cain into making a fool out of himself like Perry did in the last debate with his juvenile sniping at Romney.

Let Cain be Cain and let Romney and Perry be the ones acting like clowns.

Oh really, loudly proclaim that you’ll attack another candidate before the debate???

Gee, this doesn’t sound staged or anything.

I am concerned about this. One of Cain’s strongest suits, imo, is his positivity. He needs to tread a very fine line in going after Romney. He’ll need to do it in such a way that shows Romney to be the RINO he is while espousing his positivty borne of conservative, solution oriented plans.

He’ll run into trouble if he becomes a vicious attack dog without a positive message. He needs to be himself. Take Romney out to the woodshed and help Romney understand why his RINO’ism is wrong.

Positivity - it’s a major factor in what sets Cain apart from everyone else.

Rush said Romney wanted Cain over Perry. Cain has NO money or organization....so Cain is an easy target. Whereas, Romney knows he can’t beat Perry because of his money and organization.

This is a planned gentlemen’s agreement between Cain and Romney...attack me, attack me, attack me.

Cain, already on the record, about Romney:

“Romney is a good choice, but I believe he can’t win”.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/jul/18/romneys-religion-a-barrier-to-republican-nod-cain-/?page=all

Romney has one problem, one, according to Cain in the interview...his Mormonism is too unpopular in the South for him to win.

Otherwise, “Romney is a good choice”.

He has also said, he could be Romney’s VP, and he could pick Romney as VP.

Both sides of his mouth.

The comment is actually a knock on Perry. Like he’s not worth attacking anymore. It’s a dig at Perry, not Romney.

I wish him well and hope he continues to do well.

I'm disgusted by the demonrats and slightly less so by the Rinorats.

If there was a strong 3rd party challenger, I'd vote for him or her.

However, Herman Cain might just be the person who can help me feel good about voting for the Republican candidate this time.

I'll bet that there are lots of registered voters who feel the same way.
