Is the Ning Po still at the Kobe Docks? If so send Bond-san and Aki to check it out. Maybe there is a SPECTRE link.

These attacks have been taking place for years, not only at the mentioned (or reported) locations, but (one would think) both reported and unreported locations have been under attack for unknown and known purposes. One attack mentioned (in the article) is over one year old on the Defense Ministry. There is probably a black market which buys and sells passwords (between God knows whom) and utilization of those passwords till they are expired by God knows whom. There are scammers (criminals) utilizing 800 numbers (outside the U.S.A.) to calls into the U.S.A. and other nation, who make scam attempts from the 800 numbers and the 800 numbers are modified and changed daily to keep confusing those who monitor the scammers (criminals). Looks like to protect passwords those passwords protecting sensitive data may need to be changed, via a program (and do not know how this would be possible) which can change a password at the first indication of an attack or intrusion (and daily if no attack or intrusion is detected), and relay the new password to an administrator for security purposes. Sounds costly, and that maybe is part of the plan by those doing the attacking? And then there is the security of those who would build and sell such a program, and would those building and selling such a program be trustworthy? Mom always said ... Damn the torpedoes, those computers are what is gonna get ya.
