Next Tuesday, October 11th at 8pm ET, Bloomberg and The Washington Post, in partnership with WBIN-TV and host Dartmouth College, will present the first debate of the 2012 campaign focused solely on the economy.

With the nation facing sustained high unemployment as well as concern over deficits, weak growth and a possible double-dip recession, the Bloomberg/Washington Post debate will devote the entire program to a substantive exploration of the candidates' specific plans for national economic recovery -- in the state that will host the first Presidential primary a few months from now.

So all the Republican candidates are to submit themselves to a venue arranged by a Leftist mayor and a Leftist newspaper?

What’s wrong with this picture...

>>If Perry doesn’t do it, he has no business running for president.<<

Do you really want Perry to try to go up against a guy with a masters in math? Really? I can only imagine the embarrassment when a masters in math starts throwing numbers around and typically gives speeches without notes compared to a guy who apparently flubs every time he speaks without notes. Perry won’t even agree to an interview with talking heads for fear he will have to “think on his feet”.

Perry is the only one who has a record of creating a business friendly environment of low regulation, low taxes proven to create jobs.

You think he’ll be able to discuss that, in a debate setting, without stammering on like a town fool?

“compared to a guy who apparently flubs every time he speaks without notes”

Actually he HAD notes when he tried attacking Romney in the last debate...that’s the sad truth about it.

Why is Bloomberg and the Washington Post sponsering the REPUBLICAN debates.

Are Republicans stupid?

Why would they participate in their enemy’s territories.

This is insane!
