The point is that the “loser pays” of Texas will mean zilch in the Federal court. If one was going to bring a risky suit in Texas at all, guess where one would bring it... it would not be in a Texas court but in a Federal one....
If I were in the back of a police car with Rush OR Rush I might ask for the scenic route and a circle or two around the block as well.
Her Facebook page lists her interests as Barack Obama and Politics - and the only TV shows she likes are MSNBC’s Hardball and The Rachael Maddow Show.
Does this mean I can sue Obama. He is on TV every blasted day whining about something and it is most certainly torture.
The sequence of events here will be (1) someone reviews the show transcript, and (2) the lawsuit goes away.

Well, that explains it. If Rush said anything that she would perceive as "negative" towards her "idol" then OF COURSE she was "tortured"! I suppose the deputies should have changed the station for her, so they could be "tortured" by her choice in radio stations.
I've glanced at the list of transcripts on that date that Rush offers and one issue Rush addressed that day was a Gallup poll about how 91% of the black population still support 0bama while 36% of the white population does so he questioned who the real racists were. Maybe that's what got her so upset that she believes she was "tortured".
I expect the tape will be subpeoned to the trial and played in court. This should be great.
