So much so, he wants to side with a group that not only will end that, but are also calling for the ending the entire private banking and credit system and centralizing it under government control.
Yea... great plan there.
Ron Paul is dead-on right about many things. But, he is also very wrong about others...that is, crazy wrong.
For the record, I shall repeat what I have said many times before: I do not join or endorse any political group or movement. More specifically, I disapprove of, disagree with, and have no connection with, the latest aberration of some conservatives, the so-called hippies of the right, who attempt to snare the younger or more careless ones of my readers by claiming simultanteously to be followers of my philosophy and advocates of anarchism. Anyone offering such a combination confesses his inability to understand either. Anarchism is the most irrational, anti-intellectual notion ever spun by the concrete-bound, context-dropping, whim-worshiping fringe of the collectivist movement, where it properly belongs....Above all, do not join the wrong ideological groups or movements, in order to do something. By ideological (in this context), I mean groups or movements proclaiming some vaguely generalized, undefined (and, usually, contradictory) political goals. (E.g., the Conservative Party, which subordinates reason to faith, and substitutes theocracy for capitalism; or the libertarian hippies, who subordinate reason to whims, and substitute anarchism for capitalism.) To join such groups means to reverse the philosophical hierarchy and to sell out fundamental principles for the sake of some superficial political action which is bound to fail. It means that you help the defeat of your ideas and the victory of your enemies.
He regretted it?
He's right. The Fed was one of Wilson's biggest regrets.
I agree with Paul on the Federal Reserve. However, these knucklehead hippy wannabe idiots have not even mentioned the Federal Reserve. They, not once, brought it up in their list of twenty demands (which are pure comedy and worth the read if you need a chuckle). They want open borders, free crap and money for everyone with no requirement to work for it or exert any effort to contribute to society and a few trillion dollars of government spending. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!?
He is right. It’s pathetic that he doesn’t understand the ideology that promoted and enacted the Fed is supported by Soros, the protesters, and the mega-bankers and financiers on Wall Street.
This is all just a pig circus to help Obammie the Commie’s re-election and to give him the reason to take further control over what little bit of freedom remains in the economy. See my other post.
Shame on Paul for not seeing through this trick.
