Seriously... How can you consider it Cain’s “stunt” when it was Amanpour who had ALREADY scheduled Sharpton to be on, it was Amanpour who asked a question that Cain couldn’t very well completely ignore, and it’s Sharpton who is STILL talking about this and making such a big deal out of it???

I just don’t understand why people are not seeing that it was the media’s PLAN to stir up this controversy. If Cain had been the one to broach the subject to begin with, if Cain had been the one to call up Sharpton etc..., THEN I could understand where people are coming from, but I honestly just don’t get it!

If people don’t want the media to pick our candidates, then DON’T let the media be the ones to get people all in a blather about inconsequential things!

I haven’t picked who to support at this point, but looking from the *outside* I’m seeing this whole situation much differently than it seems a lot of people here at FR (who have their faves already) are able to see it.

Amen! I heard the Amanpour-Cain gotcha/ambush interview in its entirety. For context, EVERYONE should do so. Particularly those with doubts about Herman Cain. We owe the man that much at least, conservatives strike me as fair, and trying to get the whole picture, and also not letting the Liberal MSM dictate the narratives, frame the story and control the information (or disinformation in this case), you would think we were more hep to their game than that by now!
