Cain: Sharia law could come to U.S.
Politico ^ | 10-2-11 | Jake Sherman

Sharia law could be infused into the nation's court system, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain says.

In an interview aired Sunday on ABC's "This Week," Cain said that "some people would infuse Sharia law in our court system if we allow it."

The issue, which makes many some Republicans cringe, has resurfaced because New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is mulling a presidential bid. Earlier this year, Christie said he's sick of people talking about Islamic law taking over the American justice system.

"I honestly believe that. So even if he calls me crazy, I am going to make sure that they don't infuse it little by little by little," Cain said. "It's not going to be some grand scheme, little by little. So I don't mind if he calls me crazy."

Right now the WH makes up it's own laws little by little.

The WH gets involved in self-declaring what State laws are not enforceable.

We need to enforce the laws because our Country is becoming a free for all.

Look at Detroit and Dearborn. Look at what is happening in New York right now. Look at Philadelphia.

We have chaos in the streets and no one seems to want to anything about enforcing laws on those under 18 or still living with their parents.

There is no respect or fear of the law any longer and this Administration supports all of this in the name of “freedom”.

It's Obama’s “base” and no one seem to want to say “enough is enough”.

rant/off

There are some states that already recognize religious law in a few specific areas. NYS recognizes orthodox Jewish tribunals in matters of divorce and I believe inheritance. I believe all states recognize annulments handed down by Roman Catholic diocesan marriage tribunals. If Sharia advocates are talking about matters such as these, then there is precedent. If they’re talking about what muslims hope to create in the UK, then they’re on dangerous territory and Cain’s warning should be listened to.

Finally...Thank You Herman Cain!

I had thought it futile to hope some one in this campaign would address the islamization of America. I consider this the number one issue facing our country today, it seems most, even freepers do not agree with me, this is most important issue. Cain is so right, this is happening little by little. I remember forty years ago only a few, thought illegal immigration was serious, look where we are today.

It takes courage to speak to this issue, I'll be very surprised if any other candidate will. My vote will be for Cain if he continues to speak out.

The islamization of America should be addressed as an issue and I am glad that Herman Cain is aware of this situation

Good for Herman Cain!

I hate the way obama and progressive republicans and demonrats are so accommodating to islam and its world goals.

The US is a sharia free zone and it should stay that way.
