“We do have tough gun laws in Massachusetts; I support them,” he said during a gubernatorial debate. “I won’t chip away at them; I believe they protect us and provide for our safety.”

When the Assault Weapons Ban was about to sunset, Massachusetts Attorney General Scott Harshbarger quickly put together legislation that mirrored that piece of crap law and had it pushed through before the ban expired.

So now, only in Massachusetts is it illegal to sell, buy or own any rifle with a collapsible stock, flash suppressor or a magazine over 10 rounds. Want a nice Ruger Mini-14 tactical? Forget it. You'll have to move to New Hampshire.

Romney, as governor, did NOTHING to get rid of this ridiculous law. If he were on the side of responsible gun owners, he could have done it with a pen stroke.

Not only that but before Romney you got an FID and it was around $25 and it lasted for life. Now it’s $100 ever 6 years.
