I have a question for you. If I own a vacation home in Texas, which I pay property tax on and sales tax on anything I buy while in Texas, does that entitle my children to attend a Texas university with in state tuition. After all Texas is accepting my property and sales tax.

Apparently if you live in it for three years you’d be eligible for in-state tuition.

Last I saw, you can only claim one state as your primary residence. I’m not pro-amnesty, btw. I’m just trying to get my arms around what taxes illegals pay in Texas.
