Concerning the question of violence and war, you'll notice that nowhere in the New Testament did Jesus or his Apostles make any anti-war statements, or any statements against being a soldier, in fact, there are several, I believe, scriptures telling soldiers to act honorably (my paraphrasing).

The Anti-War and so-called Religious Left do not have God on their side when they wrap themselves in their vacuous self-righteous anti-war blanket.

Violence or war for the sake of violence or selfish reasons is not something we should seek, but there are such things as necessary or even righteous wars.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

John Stuart Mill

I despise kumb- by -ya pacifists/milk sop Christians

saying that people should not take up arms in defense of innocent people is condoning the crimes committed by the aggressor

I pondered this for quite some time. Then a few months ago it bothered me so much, I wouldn’t let go of it until God showed me. It wasn’t a week or so later I found out that the 6th commandment does not say, thou shalt not kill. In the Hebrew it says, thou shalt not murder. BIG DIFFERENCE.
