Tony's losing it.

He claims he's a pacifist then attempts to legitimize the killing of 3000 of his countrymen.

When I heard the clip, I first kinda felt sorry for him. He sounded just old and confused.

Pacifism is a cop-out, though. Pacifists only have that luxury under the protection of better men than them. It’s easy to say you’re a pacifist when somebody else holds the rifle that keeps you alive.

Lemme guess, Bennett is touring with the Dixie Chicks, right?

Amazingly hundreds of thousands of Americans saw dead bodies during WWII and managed to avoid becoming leftwing cliche spouting conspiracy crackpots.

No kidding. It made my granddad a Christian. He certainly didn't love the war but he was no pacifist.

It’s so sad to watch the long goodbye and see someone leaving through Alzheimers.

F-U. You f-ing traitor. And the only reason I don’t print the F word on this post is because we have honorable military on this forum who have also seen their share of horror but don’t use it as an excuse to bash our great country and grab a headline. You maggot. Just shut up.

Go, Cowgirl of Justice, GO!

>>Bennett also cited his World War II experience as shaping his position that “war is the lowest form of human behavior.<<

In other words, fighting to end the holocaust was worse than the holocaust itself.

Dixie Chicks

Boy, did I love their music, seriously. Great vocals and great accompaniments. But as soon as that lead singer moron opened her pathetic chubby mouth, everything changed for me.

Just wish these entertainment morons would stick to entertaining and stop insulting the very country that put so much money in their pockets.

Not only did he make those remarks, he said Bush confided in him that the Iraq war was a mistake.

In addition to being a crackpot, I believe the man is a liar.

It’s unfortunate that Mr’ Bennett’s brain has preceded his body in death.

From Ramius

“Pacifists only have that luxury under the protection of better men than them. It’s easy to say you’re a pacifist when somebody else holds the rifle that keeps you alive.”

Best post of the day. Well done, sir.

“The first time I saw a dead German, that’s when I became a pacifist,”

Seeing 3,000 dead Americans obviously doesn’t have an effect on him.

REALLY???!!! (runs to ixquick.com)

Maybe it has entered his brain. Seriously. I worked with an infant at the hospital who had a herpes blister on her face and it disappeared and went to her brain. Not good.

Scratch that. Tony sued for defamation after providing medical records that proved he did not have the virus.

After action analysis in WWI showed that far too many troops did exactly that “firing the gun but hoping he didn't hit anyone”.

IIRC it was in light of that finding that the military switched from circle targets to human silhouette targets.

Nowadays with your average 18 year old having pointed an electronic gun at an electronic human shaped adversary and fired on target some 100,000 times - probably not much of a problem.

The Germans are either at your throat or at your feat. During WWII a dead German was a good German.

To quote from the movie Patton....

“when you put your hand in a bunch of goo that moments before was your best friends face, you will know what to do”

I've read that the earliest American troops there really weren't mentally prepared for what they faced but they figured it out pretty quickly once guys started dying next to them.

Yeah, Tony also left his brain in San Francisco.

Another thing, Tony, we did not start the Iraq war. Saddam did in 1991 with his invasion of Kuwait. The invasion of 2003 was a continuation of that same war brought about by the refusal of Saddam to adhere to UN resolutions agreed to by him at the time of the “truce”. The only thing debatable is whether or not The US should have been enforcing UN resolutions.

Tony, shove your new album up your arse.
