In a speech delivered today at the CERES annual conference, LS&Co. CEO and President John Anderson said: "We are proposing a new apparel industry standard of social, economic, and environmental sustainability that focuses on improving workers' lives. If our ultimate goal is to improve not just factory conditions, but to make a material difference to the people and communities in our supply chain, then we need a more holistic approach and a more human perspective."

Did they pull that from Atlas Shrugged?
I reserve the right to never buy another levi product.

This is corporate-progressivism 101.
Check out what else Levis did just recently..............

Geez. It doesn't get any more radical left wing than this. Too bad for the Levi company - the radical left lives on welfare.
There’s a lot of companies out there like this. Progressivism has indeed found a home in corporations. You won’t always get people to admit to that though, even here on FR.

yep...LOL!
Oh, brother! He bought the Socialist line, didn’t he? Who is supplying Levi’s belt these days? Are they another company who was bailed out?
PC gibberish worthy of Stalin.
They’ve been like that for years. Major Brady Campaign / Handgun Control Inc. donors too. It’s the reason everybody at the range is wearing Wranglers. I turned the last pair of 501’s I own into cutoffs last week and I won’t be buying any more. Ever.

I sure am glad this company doesn’t make a single article of merchandise that’s worth a hsit any more.
Didn't repeat the mistake.
We banned the evil commies from our house a long time ago! Tax ‘em big time. Tax all the commies corporations and billionaires. Give ‘em what they want so they can’t aford to advertise and push oppression anymore.
Funny how things change. In the 60’s, for city boys, nothing but Levi’s were acceptable.
I stopped buying Levi’s years ago and won’t buy another pair but it’s interesting how a company can self destruct as they did. Radio Shack did the same thing a few years ago.
When I bought my first pair of Wranglers at Sheplers the salesman commented that no real cowboy would ever be caught wearing Levi’s. I laughed until I learned why.
Levis did their best to not only lose me as a loyal customer a couple of decades ago, but to make certain I'd never buy anything they sell.
And it worked! I've not bought anything from Levis since.
