WHEW - scared me there. For a minute, I thought she had resigned as DNC Chair -and we NEED her in that role. She could be the key to more wipe outs in congress in 2012!!!

Perhaps the sound of the wind blowing through her ears was distracting?

What gives? They never give up committees willingly.

Republican legal group files ethics complaint against Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida is the subject of a new ethics complaint filed in the Office of Congressional Ethics.

The Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) filed the complaint in response to a video the Democratic National Committee (DNC), which Wasserman Schultz chairs, released last week.

As The Daily Caller previously reported, the DNC ad promoting President Barack Obama’s American Jobs Act appeared to violate House ethics rules that prevent footage of floor proceedings from being used for political purposes.

The 30-second ad, however, featured only footage of the president’s recent speech to a joint session of Congress — not speeches of members of Congress themselves.

Normally, that wouldn’t be a problem for the DNC. But since Wasserman Schultz is a member of Congress, some say the House ethics rules now apply to the DNC.

This is very unusual. A scandal brewing? Illness? Perhaps just a snit-fit from the insufferable Wasserman-Schultz. We should know soon.

We now have the answer to that age old question "Who let the dog out?"

The House Judiciary Committee

I was hoping she’d resigned from the House.

Maybe there’s no oxygen for her, what with Waters, Conyers, Bobby Scott, et. al. A committee meeting must be like the Three Stooges.

See the post from kcvl just above yours.

Thanks for the additional info, kcvl. That explains it; and wow, that didn’t take long!

The ethics complaint was filed only yesterday!

She is the most annoying person they have. While I hate listening to her, I know she has to be irritating most other Americans with every word she speaks.

She represents a safe district that will likely go Dem even if she resigned. So her resigning is not a net gain for us.

Meanwhile, if she stays at the DNC and keeps blabbing, she’ll be worth 25 seats for us in congress and worth 5 points to our Presidential candidate (just speculating of course, but it’s fun...)

I mean we get to run against her, Reid, Pelosi and Obama. It’s great.
