PING TO ABOVE POST!
Thanks for the ping!
Start by repealing the law written by Bobby Kennedy in 1968, and return to good sense. Felonious? out! Become a public charge before seven years have elapsed? Out! then proceed from there, with a fence, and in some places, mines.
:)
Thanks bitt.
There’s still a catch 22.
Obama is trying to dismantle E-verify with regulations....
He DOESN’T allow an employer to use E-verify until AFTER they have hired someone. The employer can be sued and heavily fined for violating that rule.
Obama’s team will ‘investigate’ any illegal, and if they find no record of violent crimes, plus if they have work history (and with the new job that is also true), they grant them a work permit.
Voila, the illegal gets his E-verify record corrected, and amnesty to stay here.
Obama also setup the ‘self check’ portion of E-verify so that any illegal can test out how good their “ID” is ahead of trying to use it.
BS...
Make any business owner who is caught hiring illegals pay every dime of the illegals family medical cost accruded during employment, car insurance, and taxes for the illegals on top of legal fees for their own prosecution!
On top of that...take away their business license.
Problem solved!
Illegals are certainly a huge problem that we seriously need to deal with since we need the jobs and need to save the money they cost us.
The real border issue though is that we are rapidly importing the Cartel War into this country. The Mexican government has lost control of Mexico and various Cartels now control that country. We WILL be facing the same if we don’t wake up real quick.
Bring troops home from somewhere in the world and position them on the border where they are truly needed.
Especially Lamar Smith's bill, which is deeply flawed.
Quadrupling the border patrol probably wouldn’t help that much.
Preventing them from getting jobs or renting apartments may be enough to do the trick in and of itself.
Well they are going to stay pretty busy then,eh? I had not heard of this. Where did you pick this up?
Who is this Mr. Hawkins, and will he consider running for President?
By reading other freeper’s complains about E-verify on threads here, and from the E-verify Employer’s manual.
It must be effective though. The US CHamber of Commerce has fought it under Bush and in the AZ lawsuit that was victorious in US Chamber v. Whiting. They are backing Lamar Smith’s National E-Verify bill because it is all about the pre-emption clause destroying the right of states to enforce against employers the last turf on immigration that can be controlled outside of DC.
Read this letter from an enforcement immigration group on the gameplan in DC...then spread the word:
The Judiciary Committee voting to pass out HB 2885 is a blatant effort to further seize 10th Amendment rights and stiffle all objection to the employers of illegal aliens.
WE LOST THIS BATTLE because our representatives took contributions from the National Chamber of Commerce and a whole host of other groups who wish to pass thire lawful obligations for hiring employees to the rest of society.
WE LOST THE BATTLE BUT THE WAR IS STILL ON!!!!
Everyone needs to write their congresman and let them know this is a litmus test of their worthiness to serve in office. Congress can fix this bill and anyone who votes for it in its current form should be kicked out.
To clarify further, this bill is intended to void e-Verify and here is the plan:
1 Pass HR 2885 in its current wording.
2. Then, defund E-Verify, leaving the preemption clause in effect.
3. Pop a cork and celebrate that no one will make them pay the full freight for hiring illegals.
Do not forgive and do not forget. These folks do not care about the Constitution or the State of Texas. They are only loyal to their net worth, do not believe in hell and only believe in the present.
Take their power and influence away this next year by removing them from office.
Last and not least, never forget the treachery of Numbers USA is selling out on this bill.
