I do think they ought to let this go, they have said about all they can on it. I'd like to see them question him more on his open border, no fence, suck up to la raza.

The governor speaks to the people of Texas and to groups in Texas. That is an official duty. Do you have more than a picture to add? A lot of people have spoken to La Raza.

Did Perry say “no fence” ???
I believe that is inaccurate.
I know that he has stated that it is virtually impossible to run continuous fencing due to the RioGrande and associated gorges, but “no fence” is quite a different statement.

lol. Yeah, he really sucked up to la raza. They invited him to speak, likely hoping he would pander. Instead he told them exactly what he tells everyone else. We have got to secure our border.
He was never invited back.
As far as "no fence," again, you are mistaken. Texas has miles and miles of fences where fences will work. Unlike California or Arizona, Texas has a RIVER as a border between us and Mexico. We are not going to fence ourselves off from the Rio Grande river, and even if we did, the issue is manpower, not fencing. This is an 1800 mile border that would, without question, be breached if not attended with boots on the ground. That is what Perry tries to explain to the nit-wits who keep screaming "he's for open borders, no fence," and sucks up to la raza. Some people just don't want to know the truth.
