I'm not stupid but I had to read that several times before I could make heads or tails of it. In my world that just does not compute.
“The child’s father, who gave birth a year before beginning his own gender transition”
I read it over & over, trying to understand what I was misreading. Oh, it isn’t that I wasn’t understanding it, it’s written incorrectly. It should say....
“The child’s MOTHER, who gave birth a year before beginning HER own gender transition.”
NOW, it makes sense, and is also accurate. The writer is a MORON.
Regardless of whatever changes the mother went through, she was a “she” and a “mother” at the time of the child’s birth.
“GAVE birth”, Past tense. “A year BEFORE”, that’s a year past tense.
“The child’s father, who gave birth a year before beginning his own gender transition...”
WTF, Over? What a boat-load of shiite.
