I just looked it up, he’s actually tracking below Carter. I’ve been waiting for this, and I really believe he’ll crater in the next month or so unless there’s a MAJOR crisis.

Cater would get an occasional bounce from the SOTU, but I think folks are so tired of the empty rhetoric and failed policies, that he can’t expect that any longer.

The best strategy for him would be to hide for a few months.

They do take into account age, sex, etc. to get a correct representation, but that’s a good question. I don’t know if people who use land lines skew one way or another.

“The best strategy for him would be to hide for a few months.”

He is still laboring under the delusion that Americans are not sick of him. Every time he opens his mouth they get sicker.

And it’s even worse if you only include adults who have not had lobotomies.

Rasmussen has him at 46%. That’s quite a big diffence.

Oddly, Rasmussen has him moving up to 46% among likely voters.

That is partly due to how the question is asked. With Gallup it is binary. You approve or you don't. With Rasmussen you can approve, somewhat approve, no opinion, somewhat disapprove, or disapprove. You only have to have someone agree with Obama on one issue to have them somewhat approve.

The way Rasmussen asks the question will always force the answer towards the middle. When Obama was flying high, Rasmussen tended to have him five to seven points below Gallup. Now that Gallup has Obama in the 30s Rasmussen has him five-seven points higher

I don’t think he is smart enough to stay hidden. His Ego is too inflated.

Obama’s economic record is worse than Carter’s.

In fact, Obama has the worst jobs record since Hoover.

Why would they poll anyone except “Adults”?

Well, they could poll cadavers, but they have been found to be unresponsive, despite the fact that they are very likely to vote and always vote democrat.

Among adults? So what is it with the Kokomo 7th grade cheerleader squad? That's the important poll.

He’s exactly where he was on August 13-15 (39-53). His numbers improved for the last 3 weeks, until the last few days.

I can’t believe he is still competitive in the matchups against GOP candidates. This should make us very nervous.

Obama combines the worst qualities of James Buchanan, Herbert Hoover, Richard Nixon, and Jimmy Carter.

None of those Presidents had a teleprompter to tell them what to say in every speech. Where would BAMA be without his teleprompter and MSM to spread propaganda?

You are doing Nixon's, Buchanan's, and Hoover's legacies a disservice.

Just mentioning Carter is doing him a favor and showing him much more respect than he deserves.

That’s strange. In the past I saw a lot of examples showing Gallup to be the most positive poll on Obama’s performance and Rasmussen being the most negative. Still, both polls have Obama not up to half when it comes to approval.

Obama had to make do without a teleprompter today at the ceremony awarding the Medal of Honor to Sgt. Dakota Meyer. He read the prepared statement from a paper (you couldn’t see it because of the lectern but he kept looking down at it).

They had to make that distinction because last time they polled minors and flightless waterfowl and it really skewed the numbers.
