The Wipeouts in New York and Nevada
Commentary ^ | September 14, 2011 | John Podhoretz

Posted on 09/14/2011 5:25:49 AM PDT by supahstar2005

Word just came that Bob Turner has won the special election in New York’s ninth Congressional district—perhaps by as much as 10 points—while it was a foregone conclusion earlier tonight that in Nevada’s second, Mark Amodei had won the special election there with at least 60 percent of the vote.

Both Turner and Amodei made the president the chief target of their campaign ire, and the Democrats in both races ran as far from Barack Obama as they could. And they were wiped out anyway.

This is great news and Podhoretz is so right here, it really could be one of the most "suggestive" special elections in American history

Dems better get the impeachment process going in D.C., or they’re all going down with the usurper.

it’ll be fun to watch the media turn up their collective nose, and sniff, “doesnt matter”.

they howled with joy when the reps lost earlier this year. funny how when their boys lose, its not a problem for obammie, but when a dim wins, its a calamity for the conservatives

And the National news is strangely quiet this morning about the races. Hmmmmm. Perhaps they don’t want the masses to identify with the tsunami coming?

Looks like the taking out the “Son of a B****es” thing isn’t working too well.

The results of these two elections have but one message for the Obama Administration.

The message is that somehow, they must find a way to avoid the elections, most likely through martial law imposed after their minions initiate civil unrest.

I hate to sound like I am wearing a tinfoil chapeau, but they are all about power and it is slipping out of their grasp like jello in the jaws of a vise.

The good news is that Obama will believe the DNC spin and just keep right on doing what he's doing. In his mind he's never to blame and never at fault so it's still full speed ahead for the Kenyan.

Anyone with a (D) after his/her name has to go. Liberal Babylon has fallen.
Their house of cards has crumbled. They've run out of other peoples money.
The tax slaves are rebelling. They're refusing to send in their weekly tally of bricks made without straw.
The left is starting to reap what's it's sown.

I love this. I could go on and on....

That's because the unions didn't realize that the “Son of a B****es” outnumbered them 100 to 1 and were tired of being pushed.

Just the same, I’ll bet there were a few tightened sphincters in the WH when the Turner victory was announced.

This is great news and I’m not trying to rain on any parade, but I believe the seat Turner just won is going to be redistricted away.

“The results of these two elections have but one message for the Obama Administration.”

There’s always the Hitler option, Redleg.

Obuma can crawl into a bunker, and his staff can give him a bag of toy soldiers to move around a map, and feed him scoops of amphetamines from a 55-gallon drum.

Pray the dog makes it out alive this time.

Redistricting is a certainty now that a Republican holds the seat.

NPR mentioned these races very tangentially. Sort of a “Oh by the way, there were a couple of special elections yesterday. Republicans won. COMING UP NEXT — an interview with a hot new Hip Hop Artist from Chicago!!”

but I believe the seat Turner just won is going to be redistricted away.

I saw a news item earlier (can't find it now or I'd link it) that said the Ds and Rs had a deal that one D seat and one R seat would be redistricted out of existence. Weprin was apparently cool with this and would just slink silently away, but this election means Ds have to find another disposable seat!

Obviously, I can't vouch for the truth of this, but that's what I read.
