"What has the tea party done for this country?"
That’s the provocative question posed by veteran trial lawyer Jere Beasley in the September edition of his monthly newsletter.
Beasley, a former Alabama lieutenant governor, said Americans should be alarmed at where tea party members of Congress have taken the country in the past several weeks.
He said the country has seen the first downgrade of its credit in U.S. history, a tremendous drop in the stock market and dissatisfaction with Congress is at all-time highs.
"I believe it’s time to stand up to the tea party movement and expose it for what it really is," said Beasley, arguing that the movement is funded by the rich and powerful Koch brothers and other billionaires to protect their own economic interests.
Another example that a degree in law does not necessarily indicate a successful education.
I consider myself a Tea party member and i say what good has blood sucking scumbag lawyers done for this country and we should stand them up......and shoot them.

Another example of why there quite possibly could be a civil war coming.
The ideology of the left....that the true Americans patriots, who hold true to the Constitution and the principles and morals that the country was first founded on, are the terrorists, the bad guys, the ones ruining America.
While quite the opposite is true. Only one ideology can win the day....and I fear, simply talking to these delusional, brainwashed/braindead zombies, who want to go back to the days of King Charles.

If the TEA Party is wrecking America then we’re doing something right. This is NOT the America our forefathers imagined.
I say we trade.
For every trial lawyer Mexico takes we’ll provide green cards to 10 illegal aliens who have not committed other crimes.

Trial Lawyer is scared shiftless of the possibility of a populist movement getting behind real Tort Reform.
But to answer his question - "What has the tea party done for America?" I'll offer these answers - I'm sure others can add.
1. It has served as an avenue for those who are neither rich nor powerful to band together to assert their constitutional rights.
2. It has enormously increased familiarity with the U.S. Constitution as more and more people actually READ the document, rather than relying on the interpretations of their leftist teachers.
3. It has triggered a long overdue national discussion of the proper role of government in American Society.
4. It has sent legislators to Washington who refuse to participate in the immoral saddling of future generations with debt.
5. It has opened the eyes of many to the (hitherto ignored) fact that money borrowed must, eventually, be repaid.
6. It has opened the eyes of the American people that we are rapidly approaching the point where a majority of voters are net receipients of the proceeds of the public purse. At the point the majority find they can continue to vote themselves funds, the republic will begin to collapse.
7. It has provided a second voice in American politics to counteract the lockstep pronouncements of the mainstream media.
8. It has brought issues of great public concern to the fore (for instance, the race-specific enforcement of voting rights by the Obama justice department) which are typically buried by the mainstream media.

The Tea Party did not take America to the downgrade.
That did not happen overnight. It is a result of 3 years of Barack Obama, failed policies, increasing debt and lack of confidence in the Obama Administration.
Jere, the Tea Party has not yet gotten anything it wants. The first opportunity was the debt ceiling increase which we opposed. It passed the way Obama and the democrats wanted it and it had a direct impact on the market and credit rating within 24 hours. America is beyond words in their dissatisfaction with the liberal party’s results. And that’s a dangerous place to be.
Absolutely amazing. There are profoundly ignorant boneheads among us and they are each and every one absolutely committed to a liberal world view. Such are the devices of the devil. Stupidity and liberalism are the 2 sides of the same coin.
