Some of Sarah Palin's Ideas Cross the Political Divide (good, from NY Times)
New York Times ^ | September 9, 2011 | Anand Giridharadas

But when her throat was cleared at last, Ms. Palin had something considerably more substantive to say.

She made three interlocking points. First, that the United States is now governed by a “permanent political class,” drawn from both parties, that is increasingly cut off from the concerns of regular people. Second, that these Republicans and Democrats have allied with big business to mutual advantage to create what she called “corporate crony capitalism.” Third, that the real political divide in the United States may no longer be between friends and foes of Big Government, but between friends and foes of vast, remote, unaccountable institutions (both public and private).

We will know that the fall of America has been averted when all of them do.

On one side would be those Americans who believe in the power of vast, well-developed institutions like Goldman Sachs, the Teamsters Union, General Electric, Google and the U.S. Department of Education to make the world better. On the other side would be people who believe that power, whether public or private, becomes corrupt and unresponsive the more remote and more anonymous it becomes; they would press to live in self-contained, self-governing enclaves that bear the burden of their own prosperity.

By George, he's got it! I am properly impressed.

Thank you for posting this: The wrong folks are waking up though. If Sarah is wishing to sneak up on them they might be on the her. However, it probably wont make any difference she it always one step ahead at least.

Okay, should I repost what is always posted whenever anything mildly positive is said about Perry by the MSM?

"This just proves that Sarah is a RINO, and the MSM is trying to push her on us to stop a real conservative like (Perry/Bachmann/Cain/Santorum) (choose one) from being nominated!"

/sarcasm

In other words, on one side are brain-dead big government socialists, and on the other side are freedom-loving conservatives. Nothing has changed. The whole "anti-big-business" face the Democrats try to put on is just that, a facade.

It might prove that you can tick both sides off and not be a centrist.

Sarah sees the problems expresses them with clarity and ponders if she is the one to go clean up the mess.

She is counting the cost which could be great to her family and really her very life in an angry violent time.

Wish I could not even think about that last sentence let alone write it.

Well if she is going to get in, the upcoming GOP Tea Party debate would be an excellent time to start hammering this message.

Could it be both see her as a spoiler?

The Slimes article is too particular to be pushing a spoiler.

This is probably an attempt by the Slime to rebuild credibility, the Old Grey Whore now has the rep and motto of "Every leftist lie we can get in print"

They’re signaling the other media sheep that she needs to be welcomed into the race.

They need her.

This is very clear to me that they think Sarah Palin is easier to beat than Rick Perry. They are scared to death of Rick Perry. They really don’t realize that Sarah Palin is a formidable foe with whom I share ALL her values. I don’t like Rick’s policies on immigration but he would be a vast improvement over the socialist with a fake birth certiciate and social security number we have now.

They are raising a warning to not take her lightly because she is the one that threatens the establishment, not Perry. She has the ideas and the ability to go over the heads of the MSM the way no conservative since Reagan can.
