I guess Perry’s lead has gotten bigger.
The article says it is uncertain that immigration issues are of importance to voters. Its an issue that it of importance to mosy voters but an issue untouched by candidates of both parties. The GOP especially will not touch the issue and you can bet Perry apologists on FR will dismiss the issie as unimportant.
Perry supporters of course are welcome to prove me wrong.

Posting another Axelrod hit piece from the Obama drones at Leftico a certified Obama propaganda outlet!
Whats next Perry hater , a NY Slimes perry hit piece.
Watching you Obama Obot trolls freak out and still try to peddle the concerned poster scan has been a real laugh.
Oh, for pete’s sakes...this article is from Politico...need one say more about there being any truth in it?
Currently, this is how the Hopefuls rate on immigration policy (from worst to mediocre best):
F-minus: Barack Obama
F: Ron Paul
F: Gary Johnson
F: Rick Santorum
D-minus: Newt Gingrich
D-minus: Jon Huntsman
D-minus: Rick Perry
D: Sarah Palin (not a candidate)
D: Mitt Romney
C-minus: Herman Cain
C+: Tim Pawlenty (quit race)
B-minus: Michele Bachmann
Psst!
PING!
I put as much stock in a “Politico” article as I would a NY Times article by Lindsey Lohan on “How to be a Good Role Model”.
I’m not saying that there aren’t folks in all 50 States who care about the Immigration issue, but the people who care most about this issue are in the border states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. No Pubbie will carry CA anyhow and any Republican will carry the other 3 states regardless.
Are you saying there is someone still alive that doesn’t know Perry opposed an Arizona-type law for Texas? After he said so repeatedly and publicly? After it was argued and discussed for days and weeks?
That is truly hilarious. Let’s not PRETEND that we haven’t discussed this for the past week ad nauseum, so we can pretend that Perry was trying to HIDE his opposition to a texas version of the law from people. Let’s IGNORE his public statements, and say he is trying to be sneaky.
Hint: If you are going to smear a candidate by claiming he is hiding something, you should do that FIRST, and then LATER start publishing his public pronouncements about the subject. Doing it the other way just makes you look crazy.
Here is the entire text of the 2nd e-mail, as given by the article. Could someone tell me what part had anything to do with immigration? I highlighted the part the left-wing Politico said was "problematic", but it looks like religion, not immigration:
Dear Norman,Are we supposed to object to turning back Marxism now? I don't get it. Where is the immigration issue mentioned?Thank you so much for your investment of $5,000 in Governor Rick Perry's campaign for President and your help getting others to do the same.
You have taken advantage of a great opportunity to restore our nation and return it to its Constitutional foundation.
Because of your support and the other members of our team, we raised over $205,000 in investments for the Perry for President campaign. We were second in the greater Houston area and third in the state.
We are involved in a life and death struggle with the dark forces of socialism and Marxism.
Under the leadership of Rick Perry, free enterprise will once again flourish and conservative and Christian values will be revived. With Gods help and your support I am confident that we shall be victorious in our efforts!
With much appreciation for your friendship and support, I remain, as always,
Sincerely yours,
Steven F. Hotze, M.D.
President
Conservative Republicans of Texas
Who do you support?
55% of working age Californians had a job in July, in your home state.
Maybe Rick Perry can help out with that problem. Gov. Moonbeam and Gov. Schwartzenrinolovechild do not seem to have set the stage for much improvement.
All it will take is for Palin to point out a few dots for connecting between open borders/amnesty and crony capitalist campaign funders in TX.
Looked into Perry’s background, didn’t like what I found. Maybe he should run for president of mexico, seeing as how he’s their biggest cheerleader.
Damn. These emails are very f-ed up.
Is this all there is? Aren’t there ANY conservatives in business who can run? What ever happened to Thomas Monaghan of Dominos/Ave Maria? There must be someone who is successful and also hard right. Do we really have to hold our damn noses AGAIN and vote for another crony capitalist phony?
