Got a bit teary-eyed looking at that picture earlier today. What a cool thing it is to now learn that was a Freeper. You represented, as the kids say.
All the best.

Amen! She truly has a servant's heart and she speaks directly to "We the People".
The "live thread" is a testament to her "transparent" love for country.
May God continue to bless and keep Sarah Palin.

I've watched Sarah's speech twice now. She is fearless in calling out all those who deserve to be. She is not afraid of Obama, unlike many in the GOP who are afraid of being labeled a racist or whatever, and lets him have it with both barrels. Truth is a powerful weapon and she wields it with authority.

Well, for one thing, the speech certainly dispelled one little argument I’ve seen trotted around in some news columns: that the race doesn’t need Palin, because she’s supposedly redundant with Bachman and Perry in the race. That’s certainly a joke! Palin was delving into all sorts of territory, and attacking from angles we haven’t been hearing from the other candidates at all. She really makes all the others seem like garden-variety “politicians.”

How many were there? Youre best estimate. I read 2000? I suppose that many. Hard to judge with the rain storms people were coming and going. But, yeah, you're probably close.

Everytime I see her bus I think of that song from the old Newman movie “Slap Shot”(1977):
