I was convinced that she would make the big announcement at this event. WTH is she waiting for?
She thinks she can out parry Perry by waiting for the right moment.
But if she tries to suck the air out of the room by announcing during the Regan debate, it will backfire on her IMHO.
If she wasn't going to announce tomorrow, she should have simply said she wasn't going to announce. She didn't have to say one way or another if she was going to run at any point, but she could have at said that tomorrow wasn't going to be the announcement.
Of course Palins supporters will call this a brilliant strategy, but it's not. This "brilliant strategy" is costing her a lot of support, causing consternation and infighting among the faithful (including us here on FR) and many people are beginning to feel like she's playing a game.
I'm not sure how making people feel like they're being jerked around works to her advantage.
If you’ve actually read or heard any of the answers she’s given to that question, from a multitude of sources, she said end of Sept. ~ sometime in Oct. at the latest.
I know we’re all anxious here. I am too. But I’ll take the lady at her word. It’s gonna be war if she says yes, she of all people knows that best. You, me and most everybody else have no idea what’s happening behind the scenes; the strategies, the timing, the precursors... None of it.
I for one will not be manipulated by the DNC, The GOP, the other contenders or ankle biters, or LSM in this dissension sewing mania going on. Divide and conquer is a very old strategy.
She’s got her timetable; she’s has said repeatedly any campaign of hers would not be conventional. You should believe her.
