What is always puzzling to me is that the same people who fully support killing inconvenient children are the ones opposed to the death penalty for real criminals!
Well think of embryonic stem cells this way: They replicate rapidly, and hopefully they match with the cells in your body by having about the same MHC, similar to blood types, people should have corresponding tissue types, or you could end up having serious problems. It would be great to know if they match the embryonic cell types with the person, averting the body from having rejection by the immune system, or tumors from the fast replication of the embryonic cells, but then again, there should be answers.
