>>> Consultants from Palin’s team threatened to withdraw her from the rally if former Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell were present at the event,
Palin is right in not wishing even a tangential association with O’Donnell. But this was done in the most ham-handed fashion I could imagine. Totally amateur night. It gives insight into what we might expect from a Palin presidential run.
Finesse was called for. Not prima donna foot stomping.
So says Politico and therefor, so say you. Those are feet below those pegs attached to your torso, Stand on them and not on the words of others.
So it's over! She's dead! Again!
How could this be a 'final nail'? There hasn't been a first nail yet.

Who do you respect more: Someone who gives you a host of excuses to say NO, or someone who simply comes out and tells you NO? One’s a liar and the other is straight forward and truthful.
People who “dance around” direct answers to a question are politicians and liars. People who don’t, are sincere and can be trusted.
“”Consultants from Palin’s team threatened to withdraw her from the rally if former Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell were present at the event, Politico reported.” I’m considering the source... “
Me too. It doesn’t sound like Palin. It sounds like Politico still trying to sow disunity among Conservatives.
Well, you know, she could, she may, she might - announce something, somewhere, sometime...
I did say that this all could be a rouse.
Interesting take.
I’ve been baffled by this dust-up. It seems so completely out of character. I could not come up with any logical explanation as to why it even happened - and evidently early reports seem to have been pretty accurate.
Your explanation is the only one I’ve heard, which actually fits. The only likely reason Palin might be determined to control the message so carefully as to create such a confusing couple of hours of (such out of character) scrambling and bumbling - would be if this event was particularly significant.
Will be tuned in tomorrow.
Well, after listening to Laura Igraham today interview Cheney, I have a couple conclusions:
1. Cheney and Bush are both establishment rockheads...Cheney said about Palin, “She still hasn’t adequately explained her resignation halfway through her gubernatorial term”...I suspect Bush is a clone on this.
2. Laura Ingraham let it go by, so she’s somewhat estabishment, too and wasn’t willing to pry any deeper.
Ugh. I would have to say, if Palin doesn’t run (this weekend perhaps?) I’d have to say what was the purpose of resigning?
And, what have you the done in that vein?
