President Obama’s accused drunken-driving uncle — who was busted after a near collision with a Framingham cop — has had a valid Social Security number for at least 19 years, despite being an illegal immigrant ordered to be deported back to Kenya, the Herald has learned.

The president’s 67-year-old uncle, Obama Onyango, has had a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and Social Security number since at least 1992, said Registry of Motor Vehicles spokesman Michael Verseckes.

Onyango, whose sister, Zeituni Onyango, made headlines when it was revealed she was an illegal immigrant living in public housing in South Boston, was wobbly legged, “slurring” and had “red and glassy eyes” when he was pulled over at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Waverly Street in Framingham

Wong is the same lawyer who represented the president’s aunt, Zeituni Onyango, in her fight to win asylum last year. Reached at her apartment in a South Boston public housing complex yesterday, Zeituni Onyango said of her brother’s arrest: “Why don’t you go to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington, D.C., and ask your president? According to Howie Carr, the Framingham police illegal uncle Omar Onyango Obama's social security number predates the data in their computer system. They have know idea to whether the SSN he is using is legit.

The state trooper who emails us occasionally, said 20 years ago, they would take ANY social security number that was not in the RMV registry base. So in other words, you had 49 other states worth of social security numbers to pick one. So if you just didn't pick one that was 010 or something like that, the Massachusetts low digit social security numbers, you would be fine.

I heard a brief thing on the radio this morning (local show — Boston) that the uncle lived with “relatives” in the house. No idea if it’s true or how many. I guess a reporter rang the bell; a “young man” answered and said they’re not talking to anyone.

This is the second case of an Obama relative living illegally in MA. I grew up in Boston and lived in MA for 35 years but am so glad I escaped to NH years ago....

The social security card is a joke. We need a national ID with a picture. One that cannot be easily faked. No ID: no job, no social services.
