WASHINGTON — A Muslim hotel valet at one of Washington’s most exclusive hotels has sued his employer, claiming he was barred from working on floors occupied last year by a visiting Israeli delegation.
Mohamed Arafi of Kensington, Md., filed the suit in federal court in Washington Monday against the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
Arafi says that his bosses prevented him from working on the 8th and 9th floors of the hotel back in December when those floors were occupied by an Israeli delegation. The lawsuit alleges that hotel supervisors unlawfully discriminated against Arafi by agreeing to an Israeli request that Muslims and Arabs be kept off the floors.

What injuries did the Plaintiff suffer? Did he lose any wages, or did he lose his job?
And his damages were what? Pain and suffering at not being able to serve Israelis?
I don’t understand. A valet as in car valet? If so why did he need to be up there anyway? I’ve never had to have a valet come to my room before. Or are they using the term valet as in butler. I’m sure I sound stupid. Sorry.
He should, instead, sue his buddies for killing Jews all the time. He reads, and probably memorizes, a book that calls Jews Apes and Pigs.
And how was he harmed? Does he get money for hurt feelings?
Injury doesn't matter in civil rights suits, only in eligibility ones.
