Obama still has green energy vote for 2012

Environmentalists are staging a two-week oil-pipeline protest outside the White House to boost their importance to President Barack Obama’s political calculations in the 2012 election season.

But there’s little evidence so far that progressives’ disappointment with Obama’s environmental policies threatens to reduce their turnout on election day, or that it pressures White House officials to make additional concessions to environmentalists during a political season dominated by the public’s demand for additional jobs.

Monday’s colorful, TV-ready protests against the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada’s oil fields to U.S consumers took place in Lafayette Park, in front of the White House.

The day’s events included 140 peaceful arrests of environmentalists and celebrities, a multi-faith spiritual event in Lafayette Park, press club speeches by environmental leaders, and numerous suggestions that approval of the pipeline by Obama will cost his campaign votes, volunteers and donations. Hundreds of others have already been arrested, and numerous environmental groups have contributed to two weeks of protest.

Of course he does. One fraud is always going to vote for another fraud. They keep it in the family. They need Barry to keep their con game going.

If Obama panders to the enviro-idiots and passes up a chance to lock up the oil produced by the Canadian tar sands, the consequences will be far more important and more disastrous than just his re-election.

Hopefully Obama isn't suicidal enough to throw away over 100,000 jobs, even if he, like other liberals, considers a stable oil supply to be a bad thing. And what can the enviro-idiots do, not vote for Obama? They're a captive vote, they have no leverage whatsoever.

Green energy...

Isn’t that what comes out of Green Lantern’s ring?

Barack 'Jackwagon' Obama only hears the voice of those committed to his Marxist vision.

The green vote should put him over the top. Why, there must be hundreds of green advocates.
