If a politician can’t explain it in a 30 soundbite, he or she has failed to communicate.

LOL! You obviously didn't track our conversation back to the beginning, did you?

Honest about what I’m posting? Clearly you did not read the links. Perry isn’t making Texas less attractive to illegals- his policies are attracting them like flies! But you keep living in denial, k?"
Here's a clue for you, when you take someone else's words, incorrectly rephrase them so that they mean something other than what was actually said, and then argue against them, that is dishonest. You did it in the previous exchange . . .
What I said: "So no, I am not thrilled with his immigration stance, but there is so much more to our nation's plight than just immigration"

What you said: "I can not believe any freeper would dismiss illegal immigration as not being important."

My response to that was: " I never said that illegal immigration [was unimportant (left this out)]--again you are using Alinsky techniques distorting what someone says and then arguing against it (that is what is called a "straw man" argument)--I merely stated that there are other equally important issues. I would say that our rapidly approaching economic collapse and an unemployment figure approaching 20% are equally, if not more, important that illegal immigration."
. . . and you have again done it in this exchange. I never stated that Perry's policies weren't attracting illegals, as you asserted. I said that in-state tuition wasn't a primary motivator in encouraging illegals to come to Texas, that the number of jobs this Texas economy has generated was far more important in driving illegal immigration. I also stated that he worked hard to get the sanctuary cities bill passed through the state legislature, but that it was voted down by them.

If you can't accurately quote others and then refute what they actually said, then you shouldn't be quoting them at all. Lying by omission is still lying.

I see now why you are so offended, you are a Palin-bot and an NWO conspiracy nut.

Bilderberger! Bretton Woods! NWO! CFR! FreeMasons! Illuminati! Prince Phillip! Rothschilds! Skull and Bones! The British Monarchy! Bohemian Grove! Lions and Tigers and Bear, OH MY! LOL!

Did I leave out any of your Alex Jones/Lew Rockwell conspiracy organizations?/rolleyes

Rick Perry is a former Bilderberg attendee? Seriously? Are you for real?

Not more of that New World Order crap.

You’d have to be deaf, dumb and blind to not believe Perry’s illegal friendly policies aren’t attracting more. Texas is going in the opposite direction of AZ.

But keep claiming the Alinsky stuff. While you’re crying, more people are losing jobs to illegals. Or do you believe illegals are doing the jobs Americans won’t do?

Yeah, that’s it.

While you just ignore the content of both links as well as Perry’s record.

As I near I could tell, it boiled down to you telling us Palin had a plan but that you couldn’t articulate it.

What is it with you guys? I thought this was a conservative board. Doesn't anyone read what people post anymore?

I SAID that I couldn't explain it "in 30 words or less", as demanded. I can explain it alright, but I'm not up for repeating it for the hundredth time. Read Art of War, and draw your own conclusions.

The NBC and ABC morning shows on Friday indicated a growing impatience with not knowing Sarah Palin’s presidential plans. NBC’s Chuck Todd declared of the Labor Day holiday, “I think one thing about Sarah Palin is that this is her last weekend to cry wolf, essentially.”

Over on Good Morning America, George Stephanopoulos talked to reporter John Berman and insisted, “But, as you point out, the longer she stays out [of the 2012 race], actually, the less relevant she becomes.”

The ex-Alaska governor will be visiting New Hampshire and Iowa over the long weekend. Berman expressed bewilderment about Palin’s intentions, endorsing a late night comedian’s insults: “Maybe the comics have the best idea of what she’s doing.

He then played a clip of host Jimmy Kimmel dismissing, “Sarah Palin says she’s studying a possible presidential bid still. She says she’s weighing all of her option, should be ready to make a decision by December of 2012.”

Speaking of Palin, NBC’s Todd lectured Palin to reveal her motives: “She needs to do something. She can’t just simply say, “’Hey, I’m still thinking about it.’ This race will pass her by if that’s it.”

She still can run if she wants to. All she has to do is file the papers and pay the fees. Then she has officially entered the race.

Nobody can stop her from doing that. She can ignore all the blather and run if she wishes. You could too, if you paid the fees and filed the paperwork.

Why is it you don’t get that?
