They got to rule because our dear Barry wanted it that way. When he saw that there wouldn’t be an outright Muslim Brotherhood victory in Egypt but rather some degree of power sharing, he went for having an Islamic State of al-Qaeda. That way he will have excuse to negotiate with al-Qaeda outright rather than through the Muslim Brotherhood as he and Hillary originally planned. Barry is a dedicated Moozlim in of the same stripe as the Moozlim socialists who have ruled the ME ever since WWII. When democracy and “western” ideas are a threat to the totalitarian fascists in that part of the world they always allow the Muslim Brotherhood crowd to get power for a while so people will be glad to have the alternative fascists back in power.
I think Sarkozy, Cameron and Obama jointly deserve a Nobel Prize for their successful Libyan Campaign.

In the 80's Al-Qaeda was financed, trained, and armed by the US to attack the Russians.
In the 90's Al-Qaeda was financed, trained, and armed by the US to attack the Serbs.
In the 2010's Al-Qaeda was financed, trained and armed by the US to attack the Libyans.
