There was a texan, long time ago that Passed thru knoxville on his way home to Nacadoches. Some how he got lost and ended up in the Neyland Stadium and a University of Tennessee football game.

On his way home he was struck by a truck and died just long enough to go to hell and get his Big Orange jersey singed, some say burnt. They gave him a jolt with the paddles andhe pulled through

When he got back to Texas he went straight to Austin and told them we need to get one of those universities they call UT, and foot ball and all those great clothes.

And that’s how Texas got a University and football and burnt orange.

It all came from Rocky Top, UT, The University of Tennessee.

Either they have their own anti-perry ping list or they are all the same conspiracy theory psycho posting under numerous names.

Don't worry about it. Perry is about to take off and surge ahead. 29% is just the beginning.

Well I guess the good news for Perry is that if this fanatic can’t find anything Perry must be pretty clean.

From the article:

I'm sure there's a few here very discouraged by this.

Perry is the best candidate to beat Obama and the left knows it.

take note of their names. “ <<<<<<<<

The evidence is compelling, and it’s everywhere. I believe we have a revelation upon us today. I recommend ignoring them. But, can I resist? LOL.***

Yes please do take note of these names and the ideas backed by them. The revelation here is that while many people love to hide behind the nom de plume “conservative,” many are too afraid to fight for the truth. Why don’t you argue on the basis of what is being stated instead of hiding behind your imaginary cyberspace status?

I have found a couple who claim to support both, but their MO is pure Paul propagandist. I think some are adding support for Palin as a cover. And they hate Perry.

You can count me out of that group. I have been arguing against Ron Paul people for the last 2 weeks on the basis of his insane statements on Iran's intentions to secure nuclear weapons. I have also defended and supported Sarah Palin from the very beginning from close family members and friends beginning with the media smears such as the "gotcha" interview questions pertaining to her reading publication preferences, to her family life, to the fact that she is a woman, to the fact that she used to be a cheerleader, to fact that she is not intelligent enough nor has enough experience nor is serious enough to lead our country, etc, etc, etc.

I am also not anti-Rick Perry as I am not anti any GOP candidate except for Ron Paul, but I do want to know and vet and evaluate EVERYTHING about ANY AND ALL candidates as I can on what matters most of all. That isn't demographics, religions, how a person looks or speaks or what gender they are or who their friends are, or WHO MAY OR MAY NOT LIKE THEM; but how they stand on the ISSUES and what their actions are under the pressures and temptations of POWER. If Rick Perry is still standing, I will support and vote for him. If Mitt Romney is still standing, I will support and vote for him. If Sarah Palin gets in and wins, the same for her (don't think it can't happen). But I will ALWAYS seek out and reason for the positive and argue against the negative of any GOP candidate. To do otherwise is foolishness.

If you want to reason on that basis, then you will find no qualms with me. If you want to ignore the DOCUMENTED evidence of Perry's CRONY CAPITALISM, then you will continue to try and smear your opposition and fail to figure out what is the truth. You need to address those who are bringing the accusations first, before you try and attack people for how they interpret those accusations. You are at a very weak position otherwise and your only choice is to smear smear and smear some more, making you an enemy of the truth.

Truth does not exist in a vacuum. You can fight the truth all you want, but there is always consequences one way or the other.

Yes, I am going to try to start over. I was so riled up after Friday’s sniper follies on that one thread that I kind of wanted to rip out the kitchen sink for a toss. My first experience with the “rules”. I thought I was giving about as good as I got, and I was, but finally accepted that I was probably being baited, actually. I certainly recognize now that their are sincere Palin supporters out here....but among them are a glom of bullies who seemed to get to rule with impunity. Hope that is changing. We can stay in our own corners.

One of the bullies warned me to ping those who are mentioned. That is the only reason I pinged you. So, don’t get me riled up again. LOL. See ya’ on the field?

Well whatever it is that I have been unfair in stating, I would like to know in order to set anything right. It would not have the first time in my life I've had to reevaluate my intentions. Again, I am satisfied with Rick Perry for the most part. I think this is the strongest GOP field in a long while, so I'll be happy with whoever wins. That being said, I want the strongest candidate to win. If people can't trust Rick Perry to fight corruption at the federal level, there is no way they will vote for the guy. It's a chink in his armor.

That is my exact take also. I don’t know anyone who is going to sit on their hands and not support the nominee, but it’s been a blood sport out here between the Palin/Perry threads, possibly to stoke division between us and sewing bitterness among hard liners. I very much appreciate your take, sir (ma’m). And I will try to do better.

You can create a straw man and slap a name tag on him with my name on it, but he still won't be able to cash my checks...because he ain't me.

You self selected out of the group I described...good for you.

However, there is an organized effort by the Paullelujah Chorus to destroy Perry before he gains traction. That is close to an exact quote as written by a freeper Paul supporter from their own postings. They purposely, repeatedly posted the most salacious rumors. Ones that had been proved false. They were not in the pursuit of truth, but engaged in a dishonest effort to besmirch Perry's reputation.

As I am undecided, I have no problem with honest vetting of all the candidates. My problem is with the handful of candidate cheerleaders trying to disguise themselves as objective truthseekers, while their only real intent is to create false impressions about their perceived competition.

I doubt there is much of an organized effort to create division. Most of this is from individuals who are trying to figure things out. Finding out information is often messy. It's a great exercise in discretion and learning if you ask me.
