I’ll never forget Noonan’s comments after the Obama inauguration; the thing is that you can’t just read them, you have to hear the words coming out of her stupid, pretentious mouth. She is a typical NYC lib; too afraid to say the honest truth because it will get her “univited” to so many cocktail events.
I shot a lot of marbles in my younger days and wore out the knees of many pairs of overalls making my dear mom do a lot patching. I don’t recall the game you mention. Our main games were rings and follow up. In rings there was a circle marked on the ground. The circle could be any size for play for keeps but official tournaments used a 10 ft dia. circle A cross of marbles was laid out in the center of the circle. I believe 13 marbles. Players lagged to a line for order of shooting. I won a grade school championship one year but I was not the best shooter. It so happened the two best shooters tied after 3 rings for marbles knocked out of the ring. I was included in the playoff and got hot and ended up winner. To this day I often think of that day and wished I had given my place in the city tournament to one of the better boys. I was a complete dud in the city tournament.
Not too long ago, I asked a fellow Freeper to remove Peggy’s
picture off of the “Conservative Women” poster and put Sarah and Michelle in her place.
That worked out, good.

The last thing Americans want to see right now is “straight talk” and “tellin’ it like it is.” What they really want to hear is the establishment view of the world. The New York City and “Inside The Beltway” establishment view of the world.
