This is why I no longer pledge or give for friends who are doing the Komen Walk thingie. My friends might not understand, bu I do.
Ditto for me and my family....we no longer give donations to SGK or anything connected to them.
I never give to any of these organizations. Think about it - it is not in the organizations best interest to find a cure. If a cure is found - they are out of business. I would love to know the millions of dollars that have been poured into cancer reserach with virtually NO RESULTS.
This is discouraging as we have donated to this foundation several times . The wishes of the deceased obituary mentioned it. This is not good news for me.............
