Why now? Well, I’m very concerned about the way BHO is systematically taking the country apart—bit by regulatory bit, and I’m searching frantically for leadership that will champion my side loudly and urgently until election time (if that occurs). Right now, Perry is the one taking on that role, and because he is displaying the courage to take on that role, I will stand up for him. I do not know about Palin — whether she really wants the presidency or is better suited as a powerhouse on the sidelines. For me, I would like to know because I do not view the election as a game—but life or death for our representative republic. Thank you for your response.

You posted what every thinking American believes—that the mission is nominating a candidate for president who can boot Obama. Here, however, the mission is clearly to promote a candidate and be damned that she can’t win the general, all to prove a point, that point being, you’re stupid and they’re geniuses.
