Someone at DU mentioned this could mean JOBS. Rachael Maddow was all over how Obama could use this for a JOBS program. Even gave him the speech he needed to give. Maybe Krugman is a user at DU. They are about that dumb.

Bastiat's broken window fallacy.
My broken skull corollary is that if I hit Krugman in the head with a baseball bat he will get hospital care and thus be healthier than if I hadn't hit him.
(however I would never hit Krugman in the head because it is so filled with concrete that my hands would sting for a week)

Krugman and the liberals will soon come up with a plan to get rid of our nukes and revive the economy if this keeps up .....

Krugman is 100% certifiable. Let's see the Left defend this creeps wishing peoples lives and property would be destroyed to give Obummer a second term. What a piece of human debris.

Krugman wrote an article for the NY Times about 9/11 entitled "After the Horror" in which he said "Ghastly as it may seem to say this, the terror attack like the original day of infamy, which brought an end to the Great Depression could do some economic good."
I also hear Rush Limbaugh frequently say that WW II brought us out of the Great Depression. This is also nonsense. Destruction doesn't bring prosperity! It's not possible that creating and then destroying large amounts of wealth is good for an economy. What brought us out of the Great Depression was an end to Roosevelt's policies. He himself ended many of them and turned to business leaders when he had to build the economy for war.

Guess this SOB has never looked into the eyes of men, women and children, up close, who have had everything or most of everything they owned destroyed, I have.
This SOB needs a good old fashioned a$$ kicking.
You don't even joke about that.

Resident Obama has released a statement pointing out that the earthquake epicenter has been determined.
It is located at the convergence of Bushs Fault, Congresss Fault, the Teaparty Fault, and Itsnotmy Fault.

Krugman(?): If only the earthquake had done more damage, the economy would have gotten a boostSo I guess we could say that the London riots are really a form of economic stimulus.
Destruction is Construction!

I always considered earthquakes extremely good for business but only if they are over 7.0!
5.9 can’t hardly be considered more than an earth fart!

The bi-centennial anniversary of the New Madrid earthquakes is coming up in December; maybe Krugman gets lucky.
