Even though I am a staunch Republican, I never really bought into the concept of the world needs a strong American president.Speak softly, carry a big stick, and slap some bad guys into oblivion with the stick as needed so you can continue to speak softly.
Being strong is only effective if you are willing to exert that strength with deadly force and if you are willing to demonstrate that you are willing to annihilate the bad guys.

IMHO if there were holes on the map / glass in the middle east on 9/12, the world would be a much better, more stable place today.
