P!
Can Boehner say never mind?
Yeah I know he won’t because they’re doing what he wanted.
...we know what the “super committee” is going to say, so it’s a complete waste of time, money and energy in an era when we’re out of all three.
I don’t care what libs say, we can’t spend our way out of debt.
I don’t care what the libs say, raising taxes isn’t going to fix anything.
I don’t care what the libs say, spending more on social programs isn’t going to stimulate anything.
I don’t care what the libs say, cutting the military isn’t the solution.
But get ready for massive media spin when this bunch comes out recommending all the above.
Whose bright Idea was it to give equal power to the Rats? After all WE WON!!
I can’t imagine that this “super committee” will accomplish anything, because the Democrats have stocked it with hardcore socialists like Clyburn.
Just think, if it weren’t for Bush and Santorum we could’ve had Toomey sooner.
“Does Stimulus Spending Work?”
Not only does it not work, but it has precisely the oppose effect of the one intended. According to this lecturer, for each 1% increase in federal spending, the economy loses $4,000 in GDP per person.
Every time I see Club for Growth mentioned in an article I get excited, because they’re one of the few business groups I’ve heard of that actually opposed the unconstitutional TARP bailouts. They’re true free-marketers.
From the interview:
“But I think its very hard to dispute the premise that our tax code is absurdly complicated. It creates all kinds of distortions in our economy. It has all kinds of special interest loopholes and write-offs and deductions that in my view are counter-productive.”
Exactly right. We’ve got a situation now where the worker who makes $100,000 a year pays taxes at a higher rate than those making over $100,000,000 a year. This is nonsensical, and feeds the perception that the rich are buying favorable income treatment from an all too willing to be bribed congress.
So as the Wheel Turns, it comes to this: The last hope of sanity: Toomey.
