OH. Well, I heard the interview LIVE this morning and I thought it was a glowing endorsement. Admittedly, I don’t know how Kinky is received in Texas.

Re your #12 - Kinky received quite a few votes from conservatives when he ran against Rick (including mine). He is an honest man with a great sense of humor but much of the public perceives him sorta like Jesse Ventura.

He cuts to the chase. When he was running there was a perception he was against the death penalty, but when asked he stated that he wasn’t against it but that he had never seen or heard of a rich man being executed.

In the scheme of things, this quasi endorsement will likely never hit the national or Texas radar screen.

Aw, we pretty much tolerate him, and most of the time he’s just really funny. A little like Willie: can’t condone his lifestyle, but he has a tender heart for underdogs.
