A none-too-subtle attempt to make a huge pretense of being sensitive to all religions but to ultimately fashion laws that will make any public criticism of Islam (other than as 'a religion of peace') or even identifying Muslim terrorists as, well, 'Muslim terrorists', some kind of 'hate speech' crime that can be prosecuted as an end-run around First Amendment protections for speech.
