He wants people to think all the great men of yesterday were democrats, and no one is calling him out on it. To this day, most people think the democrats pushed the civil rights bill! They don't know it was the democrats who tried to kill it.
In fact, most people think it was Nixon who started the Viet Nam war! The democrats have them believing that! (this is why they don't teach history anymore. An ignorant people are easier to deceive).
