I know James Bond and you (McCain) are no James Bond.

Perry is correct about The Fed not acting in the best interest of Americans as a whole.
But look at all the OTHER government schemes to redistribute wealth. He also looks at other inflation measure generate by the Fed and it’s crazy.

I wish I could take this guy’s courses at George Mason University in Virginia. But the economists in California all seem to be like Brad de Long, Chrissie Romer, etc in my home state.

Didn’t he say it would be “near treasonous” in any case?

The Fed needs to hear the threat and know that it is real.
While Treason carries a specific constitutional definition that is unlikely to be met here...sedition, fraud and grand theft should be sufficient for hanging when committed on this scale.

"You've got to be more like James Bond and less like Rambo," said Ford O'Connell, an advisor on Republican John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign. If memory serves, Ford O'Connell contributed to McCain's failed campaign. And McCain was certainly not too forceful. So O'Connell's advice is suddenly a credible path forward?
Personally, I'm OK with more Rambo and less nuance this time around.

If deliberately debasing and inflating the currency isn’t considered treason, it ought to be.
Anyway, more sanctimonious lectures on civility from the “The Tea Party are terrorists” crowd is beyond galling.

You've got to be more like James Bond and less like Rambo,"We tried Bond and got our asses handed to us by the KGB. Now it's time to send in Rambo. By the way, Bond is English, Rambo is red blooded American.

i hope every GOP candidate starts going after obama with ferocity. he won’t be able to withstand that much criticism. He can’t run now from his record. clearly his only move is to go after the other candidates. BEAT HIM TO IT with his own failures.

"'You've got to be more like James Bond and less like Rambo," he said......'" And was this said by McCain's 2008 campaign manager?
Well, in that context,
Sarah Palan = Rambo
John McCain = one of Bond's movie hussies.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
Well if an advisor to Juan McStain thinks Perry is out of line thats not necessarily a bad thing.
