Palin feeds the press (Interviewed for over an hour, press ran out of questions)

Sarah Palin outlasted most of the few dozen reporters, photographers, and camerapeople who mobbed her on a visit to the Iowa State Fair that seemed aimed first of all at meeting the national press.

By the time she trudged up a dirt parking lot to the fair's VIP area, only ten or so reporters were left, and we'd run out of questions. She looked up, seeming a bit startled by the silence, and drew a few more.

She's running and will run rings around the rest of the field

She seems to enjoy her work.

She's still the giant amongst Lilliputians on the presidential stage as far as I'm concerned.

I’m sure they all went away dissapointed that in all that time, sans teleprompter, there weren’t any “Paul Revere” moments.

I’m a Sarah Palin supporter and I’m constantly amazed at how well she handles herself in a usually hostile atmosphere. Sarah Palin has definitely matured in the sense that she has developed a method of dealing with liberal reporters dying to make her look bad any way they can. Lord knows, she’s a human being and not ‘perfect’ but she sure does well with the leftmedia these days without really giving them a thing to bash her with. This is another example of that finesse. She answers all their questions (some dopey, some hostile, I’m sure) then, having worn the reporters out, she leaves but has her staff feed them corndogs. I love it. So much for the Palin naysayers that claim she can’t overcome the media’s hostility to her. She can, does and will continue to do so. Oh, they’ll still bash her and lie about her, no doubt, but, like Ronald Reagan, her honesty, integrity and well, charisma will help Palin surmount the media attempts to sink her (possible) candidacy.

Why is she at the Iowa state fair and why is she answering questions?

Thanks. You always add so much to any Palin thread. Sheer genius on your part.

Undermining Perry, in advance.

Palin wants a loser.

She wants to run against the party that elected a two time loser.

In 2016.

We won’t have a country after four more years of Obama.

Sarah knows that, and is far too patriotic to let it happen.

So...Then you think her play, is to wait until 2 or three emerge strong from Iowa, and Perry gets in, so all the big $$$ donors have found a horse, then.....Jump in late....Like Fred Thompson ?

The answer to every question should begin with “First, get rid of Obama and his Marxist minions.”

So there goes the claim she won’t give the media any opportunities.

You’re making unwarranted assumptions. The reason Perry and Palin are getting in is because there is no one emerging strong from Iowa. I’m not sure why you assume all the big donors have found a horse either.

Sarah knows that, and is far too patriotic to let it happen

If she believed that, she would not have put politics above America and waited this long. That's what was said on Rush Limbaugh.

Many "Sarah Palin Supporters" (yes, the ones that go around calling other Sarah Palin supporters "Palin-Bashers", have the theory that...

"Sarah Palin is a genius. Her tactic is to wait until all the other candidates are worn out from all the debates, have all had their share of gaffes and fights with the media and then Sarah enters the stage looking strong (compared to the other candidates)not even out-of-breath. And by this time there will only be a few more debates to have to worry about and with any luck maybe one or two of them can be canceled for whatever reason. Debates? They're for the other less known candidates. Not Sarah Palin."

What a deceptive Al Gore-like tactic! You so-called Sarah Palin supporters are basically posting in public that she is weak, deceptive, timid of debates and dishonest. My theory is you are from the other side trying to damage her.

Sarah Palin is my preference of all candidates and Obama to be our next President and I consider the above theory to be an insult not a compliment to Sarah Palin.

No.

Not. Even. Close.

Perry is getting in, because he’s the best candidate, and he knows it.

He’s been Governor since Bush got elected.

Not a one and quit.

Not a 2Term and cant sell it.

And Not Frontrunner Mitt.

Sign the big donors have found a horse? Romney;s fundraising.

and You misstate what I said.

Once 3 emerge strong from Iowa, and Perry jumps in.

Her current time frame is another month.

She’s playing Thompson here.Except she’s getting Rich doing it.

She’s not In.
