First of all, my gaydar went off because of all his effeminate mannerisms. But I've been told he's not a homosexual.
Occasionally he can be funny, but not enough laughs to watch his show.
Total content of his show is about 22 minutes a day, just four days a week. Of that 22 minutes, only about half is his opening monologue. And for that, he has dozens of Ivy League writers.
They call it "snark" but his shtick is just snide. Demeaning ridicule, with lots of f***ings and sh*ts. His audience is particularly repulsive, howling and hooting and applauding rather than laughing. Reminds me of the Cool Table in high school where everyone wanted to get on the good side of the Mean Kid so they wouldn't get made fun of with the dorks and the jocks.
And the rest of Comedy Central is just an overflowing toilet. Of course, I used to love Red Skelton and Carol Burnett. Nothing like that, anymore.
But Stewart is important, and all this "I don't watch him" is not the way to bring him down.
Truly, I don't believe Obama would be in office without Stewart, since he managed to get all these mouth-breathing, basement-dwelling stoners to go to the polls.
My BIL watches him every night and agrees with him.
