a generation of amoral, uneducated, welfare dependent, brutalised youngsters (Riots)
DailyMail ^ | Aug 10, 2011 | Max Hastings

Posted on 08/09/2011 11:51:44 PM PDT by Tennessee Nana

Most have no jobs to go to or exams they might pass. They know no family role models, for most live in homes in which the father is unemployed, or from which he has decamped

They are illiterate and innumerate, beyond maybe some dexterity with computer games and BlackBerries. They are essentially wild beasts. I use that phrase advisedly, because it seems appropriate to young people bereft of the discipline that might make them employable; of the conscience that distinguishes between right and wrong.

They respond only to instinctive animal impulses — to eat and drink, have sex, seize or destroy the accessible property of others.

Their behaviour on the streets resembled that of the polar bear which attacked a Norwegian tourist camp last week. They were doing what came naturally and, unlike the bear, no one even shot them for it.

A former London police chief spoke a few years ago about the ‘feral children’ on his patch — another way of describing the same reality.

The depressing truth is that at the bottom of our society is a layer of young people with no skills, education, values or aspirations. They do not have what most of us would call ‘lives’: they simply exist.

Nobody has ever dared suggest to them that they need feel any allegiance to anything, least of all Britain or their community. They do not watch royal weddings .... or notice Test matches...

Not only do they know nothing of Britain’s past, they care nothing for its present.

They have their being only in video games and street-fights, casual drug use and crime, sometimes petty, sometimes serious.

The notions of doing a nine-to-five job, marrying and sticking with a wife and kids, taking up DIY or learning to read properly, are beyond their imaginations.

Full Title: Years of liberal dogma have spawned a generation of amoral, uneducated, welfare dependent, brutalised youngsters

If you live a normal life of absolute futility, which we can assume most of this week’s rioters do, excitement of any kind is welcome. The people who wrecked swathes of property, burned vehicles and terrorised communities have no moral compass to make them susceptible to guilt or shame.

.......

So who is to blame? The breakdown of families, the pernicious promotion of single motherhood as a desirable state, the decline of domestic life so that even shared meals are a rarity, have all contributed importantly to the condition of the young underclass.

The social engineering industry unites to claim that the conventional template of family life is no longer valid.

............

Unless or until those who run Britain introduce incentives for decency and impose penalties for bestiality which are today entirely lacking, there will never be a shortage of young rioters and looters such as those of the past four nights, for whom their monstrous excesses were ‘a great fire, man’. __________________________________________

Shut down public education, and repeal all of the feminist laws against families. Susan B. Anthony and her friends were influenced by the writings of Charles Fourier, who may have been the first communist.

How Dramatically Did Women's Suffrage Change the Size and Scope of Government?

JOHN R. LOTT Jr.
American Enterprise Institute (AEI) (download links for whole document at bottom of page)

September 1998

University of Chicago Law School, John M. Olin Law & Economics Working Paper No. 60
Journal of Political Economy, Vol. 107, Number 6, Part 1, pp. 1163-1198, December 1999

Abstract:
This paper examines the growth of government during this century as a result of giving women the right to vote. Using cross-sectional time-series data for 1870 to 1940, we examine state government expenditures and revenue as well as voting by U.S. House and Senate state delegations and the passage of a wide range of different state laws. Suffrage coincided with immediate increases in state government expenditures and revenue and more liberal voting patterns for federal representatives, and these effects continued growing over time as more women took advantage of the franchise. Contrary to many recent suggestions, the gender gap is not something that has arisen since the 1970s, and it helps explain why American government started growing when it did.

Repatriating these poor folk back to their homelands might make some sense. Obviously they can't cut in Whitey World...

They are products of a culture which gives them so much unconditionally that they are let off learning how to become human beings. My dogs are better behaved and subscribe to a higher code of values than the young rioters of Tottenham, Hackney, Clapham and Birmingham.

So when does the European DNA switch get flipped and all heck breaks loose? Two thousand years of history tends to repeat itself.

why is this so difficult to resolves?

1. take pictures
2. identify
3. round them up
4. put them in jail

the UK still has laws against attacking people and vandalizing property, don’t they?

ENFORCE THEM

so what if there are 100 or 10,000 ... ENFORCE THEM

grow a set or quit your jobs

Some of the items they mentioned in this article reminded me of my current home state - Kalifornia. But heck, I grew up in and around Detroit. So been there, done that. Once had my hub caps stolen off my Monte Carlo, deep in the city of Detroit. Near the old GM building. Was looking at the wheels, when someone in the housing complex started banging hub caps together and singing. Obviously they were mine, but that complex was very nasty looking. Wrote em off and drove the heck out of there.

This is where all socialist societies are headed - hell on Earth.

These feral youths will eventually have to be destroyed like packs of rabid dogs.

I forget what riot it was, back in the sixties I think, where a governor or mayor confronted a pack of rabid newsmen and told them that civil order was the first priority. “Even ahead of human life?” expostulated a rabid newsman. “Yes, even ahead of human life,” he responded. The newsmen fell silent.

Anybody recall who that was?

Nice post - but why would the writer insult innocent wild beasts?

“These feral youths will eventually have to be destroyed like packs of rabid dogs.”

Here in the US the plan seems to be to abort them into extinction; look at their birthrate since BJ Clinton passed the Welfare Reform Act. They’ve been passed in numbers by Hispanics, who are given free reign to cross our border and displace them in the workforce, the drug trade, even prisons.

From the 1963 Communist goals;
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [”]united force[”] to solve economic, political or social problems.

You’re right. The one underlying cause is the turning away from God. No society has ever fixed these type of problems without some sort of revival.

But this isn’t supposed to happen in socialist welfare states where everyone is rocked to sleep by their overlord nanny.
